 An ammeter (abbreviation of Ampere meter) is an instrument used to measure the current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes (A), hence the name. For direct measurement, the ammeter is connected in series with the circuit in which the current is to be measured.

Barometer for measuring air pressure and demonstrating how an aneroid barometer operates. Encased in a transparent acrylic case which allows full view of the movement.  The barometer responds to changes in the air pressure.  The action can be demonstrated with the help of a rubber bellow which increases the pressure when squeezed. An astronomical telescope is an instrument that works on the principle of optics used to view the enlarged image of heavenly bodies like stars and galaxies. The end image formed by an astronomical telescope is always virtual, inverted, and magnified. 

Physical balance is used to measure the mass of the body. Explanation: Everything is composed of matter, and the quantity of matter that makes up a body is referred to as its mass, whereas the gravitational attraction that a body experiences is referred to as its weight. 

Mercury is not used. A small high pressure container contains a safe coloured fluid and, when the pressure in the container is raised by a small air pump the pressure is read on a gauge and the fluid is pushed up the heavy walled glass tube. The air volume in the glass tube is reduced as the pressure rises. An adjustable pointer can be clamped at any point along the scale to indicate the starting volume. Calculations are made relevant to the pressure and volume to prove Boyle's Law.

An electric bell consists of one or more electromagnets, made of a coil of insulated wire around an iron bar, which attract an iron strip armature with a clapper. 

An electromagnet is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by an electric current. Electromagnets usually consist of wire wound into a coil. A current through the wire creates a magnetic field which is concentrated in the hole in the center of the coil. 

Dispensing Balance is a 2 pan torsion type balance which utilizes both internal and external weights. It requires the use of external weights for measurements. 

A dynamo is a type of electrical generator that is used to create a conducting current with the help of a commutator. A dynamo used the laws of electromagnetism to create a direct conducting current or electric power from the rotation of the coil.

The Hooke's Law Apparatus is used to demonstrate that the relationship between the extension on a spring is proportional to the load applied to it. The apparatus consists of a high quality, moveable, 120mm scale that is mounted on a simple stand and base. 

Inclined Plane, simple machine consisting of a sloping surface, used for raising heavy bodies. The force required to move an object up the incline is less than the weight being raised, discounting friction. The steeper the slope, or incline, the more nearly the required force approaches the actual weight 

A multimeter is a measuring instrument that can measure multiple electrical properties. A typical multimeter can measure voltage, resistance, and current, in which case can be used as a voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter. Some feature the measurement of additional properties such as temperature and capacitance.
